Mobilities for teaching periods (in European countries):

ERASMUS grant (students enrolled in UP - mobility from UP to TUC or UA)
The ERASMUS mobility allowance is paid by the European Commission via the Agency Europe-Education-Formation France to students in the ERASMUS status. The minimum amount is 150 Euros/month multiplied by the number of months spent in the hosting institution. The minimum stay is 13 weeks.

Additional grant from the Poitou Charentes Regional Council (students enrolled in UP - mobility from UP to TUC or UA)
Poitou-Charentes Regional Council grants additional aid of 120 Euros / month to students enrolled at the University of Poitiers whatever the region of origin of the applicant. The request must be made directly by the ERASMUS student to the Poitou Charentes Region using the following link: https://teleservices.poitou-charentes.fr. The application is then validated by the University. The minimum stay in the hosting institutions (University of Aveiro and Technical University of Crete) is 13 weeks.

Erasmus grants (Greek students enrolled in TUC - mobility from TUC to UA or UP)
The Erasmus grant amount is 470 Euros per month for a mobility to France and 400 Euros /month for a mobility to Portugal.


Mobilities for internship periods (in European countries):

Students enrolled in UP - mobility from UP to TUC or UA

- The ERASMUS mobility allowance is paid by the European Commission via the Agency Europe-Education-Formation France to students in the ERASMUS status.

- Duration: 3-6 months. No age limit.

- Amount: 350 euros/ month min. from the European Union and a supplement of € 150 from the Poitou Charentes Regional Council.

- The application is made to the Regional Council using the following link: https://teleservices.poitou-charentes.fr


Greek students enrolled in TUC - mobility from TUC to UP or UA

- The Erasmus grant amount is 750 Euros per month.


Mobilities outside Europe (from UP to UFRGS)

Poitou-Charentes Regional Council provides grants of 60 to 90 Euros/weeks to students enrolled at the University of Poitiers whatever the region of origin of the applicant. The request must be made directly by the ERASMUS student to the Poitou Charentes Region using the following link: https://teleservices.poitou-charentes.fr. The application is then validated by the University. The duration of the stay in the hosting institutions (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul) is from 2 weeks to 6 months.


Observations

The grant awarding process includes a pre-selection of the applicants by a teaching committee. This pre-selection is based on academic criteria (grades obtained during the first semester/year).


Grants attributed for the Master thesis

Grants are attributed to all students during the master thesis internship in UP, TUC and UA. Their amount is EUR 500/month minimum.
There is no specific grant in UFRGS but meals and accommodation are funded during the stay.


Others: Financial support for accommodation expenses in UP

Students may be eligible for benefits from the CAF (Caisse d’allocations familiales).

A CAF office is open to students in the citycentre (5, rue de la Croix Blanche) during the first months of the academic year.
